Why Are We Different?

The main difference between TLC Recovery's treatment system and other systems is we based our treatment program on the core concept or belief that Chemical Depencency is a disease and that in reality terms the "Addict" within us has NO interest in changing. We use a professionally adapted, internationally acclaimed "Developmental Model of Recovery" (DMR®) treatment system originally developed by Terence T. Gorski and the CENAPS® Corporation. This system is based upon highly effective clinically sound Relapse Prevention Therapy concepts. Working together with the CENAPS Training & Consultant team we have adapted the DMR into an individually centered, need driven, highly structured, modern alternative to historically popular information/education style 12-Step treatment programs.

Our simple motto to interested clients is:

"If you come to the program and do the work, you will change."
